One has to understand two things. 1) Understand the spray paint, it's characteristics for filling in and outlining. 2) Understand yourself, how you work and most importantly how to pace yourself. It is very, very easy to get fatigued and by the time you get to outlining you have lost your can control, or your index finger is cramped up. It's just like a pitcher in baseball, you are using your whole body, but so much focus is on a localized area. So pace yourself. Here i'm doing borders around the letters, and at this point it's almost performance art ...a very physical interaction between the person, the paint, the wall...
